Our certified installation process guarantees that every fire door performs exactly as intended in emergency situations, strictly following manufacturer guidelines and current legislation.

Precision Fire Door Fitting

A fire door is only as good as its installation. Even the highest-rated fire door will fail rapidly in a fire if it is incorrectly fitted, leaving critical gaps, unsupported frames, or improper seals. Correct installation is a highly technical process requiring specialized knowledge and extreme precision.

Our BM TRADA registered installers fit all doors meticulously according to strict manufacturer specifications and BS 8214 guidelines. We supply and install fully certified doorsets tailored to the specific fire rating, acoustic, and aesthetic requirements of your property.

Expert Craftsmanship

Precise fitting ensuring optimal gaps, secure framing, and smooth operation without compromising fire resistance.

Fully Certified Doorsets

We install complete, factory-prepared doorsets including the leaf, frame, architraves, and essential ironmongery.

Post-Installation Sign-off

You receive a BM TRADA certificate and comprehensive O&M manual demonstrating full legal compliance.

Our Installation Standards

  • Approved intumescent and smoke seals

  • Fire-rated glazing securely fixed
  • Appropriate intumescent mastic around frames
  • Correctly fitted fire safety signage
  • Compatible, fire-rated locks and latches

  • Clear, traceable BM TRADA Q-Mark plugging

The Danger of Incorrect Installation

Liability and Invalid Insurance

Installing fire doors without proper certification can leave the “Responsible Person” personally liable in the event of a fire. Furthermore, non-compliant installations often invalidate building insurance policies. Trusting certified professionals is the only way to mitigate this severe risk.

Loss of Fire Integrity

A 60-minute fire door can fail in less than 5 minutes if the wrong intumescent seals are used, or if the gaps between the door and frame exceed 4mm. Our certified installation ensures the door will hold back fire and smoke exactly as tested in laboratory conditions.
